Changing stereotypes in the construction industry.
Changing stereotypes in the construction industry.
Built By Her a campaign created by property developer Marta de Sousa aims to change the perception that the construction industry is solely a male world, inaccessible to women.
Marta and photographer Leonora Saunders are taking the campaign into schools and re-branding the industry, showing 16 – 18 year old young women the opportunities available to them. Teaming up with advertising agency Mr President the school talks will run alongside a Government backed national advertising campaign.
They will get to meet and hear from industry role models, potential employers and from companies such as the Prince’s Trust about the construction careers available to them.
